Manga Spotlight: Gantz

I bring you to a story that’s full of gore, love, lust, pain, and sorrow. Gantz starts off as the main character, Kei Kurono is waiting at the station to take a train, presumably to school. He’s an ass of a character, not really the main character you’d ask for. He then notices an old friend of his Masaru Kato that he no longer associates with, after a while a homeless drunk falls into the track, Kato goes to get him, but no one else wants to help the man, or even Kato. To his horror Kato notices Kei and calls his name out, Kei gets down into the track to help, though he regrets it profusely. They end up getting the drunk to safety, but they themselves can’t get out of the track, to their horror they notice the train coming. Kato immediately thinks that they can outrun the train, it should slow down to come to a stop right? Well they take off, but this train isn’t stopping at this station and so they die. Heads fly off and everything, or so it would seem. Now they’re in this room, with six other people, and a dog. The real story starts in this room, can you go through with it?

Music Monday 2016 Edition

Its 2016 now, what new music have you gotten? What have you bought? Downloaded? Listened to? What artist tickles your fantasy, what songs make your heart thump, what lyrics set your thoughts ablaze? I’m proud in the fact that the first song I downloaded was a Travis Mills song that featured Blackbear! We’ve seen some great music in 2015, The Weeknd dropped a fire album, Travi$ Scott rose to popularity, Blackbear dropped two studio albums, Dr. Dre dropped a long awaited album, and Disturbed came back after 4 years. I don’t think I’d be able to say what my favorite album, or song was in 2015 because I’ve went through a lot of songs throughout the year, I discovered new artists nearly monthly, I never went without new music really. I can’t wait to get new music this year, I’m excited for what artists can do, Machine Gun Kelly, Gnash, Issues, Pierce the Veil?! Where does it end!

Show Awareness

I don't want to throw spoilers in, but I'll throw in some information about the first episode, without further ado let’s talk about a Netflix show called "Unbreakable.” The show is about some girls who are kept in a bunker by a crazy reverend, he tells them the world outside has ended and they’re the only ones alive and it’s dangerous to go out. 15 years later they’re saved by the police, and one of the girls starts a life in New York, overall it’s a funny show about a girl who doesn’t know how the world works and has to figure it out on the fly. It’s a silly show, and it’s a pretty warped world so get ready for cheesy jokes, and a super silly atmosphere! Season 1 is done, with a season 2 in the works!
